For more than twenty years, I have been an advocate for older adults, families and caregivers. My goal is to share information that will help others navigate life's changes with clarity and purpose --bridging the gap between wealth management, aging and long-term planning.

Before joining Vintage Financial Partners, I first served as a Vice President and Senior Trust officer at Sandy Spring Trust, and later as a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at Bank of America.  With a focus on estate planning and aging issues, I have been a frequent speaker throughout the community on financial fundamentals, retirement transitions and elder financial abuse.

At Vintage, my position as Director of Community Engagement provdes me the opportunity to lead and implement initiatives that connect families with resources in eldercare, estate planning and financial education. My role also allows me to partner closely with the Vintage Team on trust administration and advocacy for older adults.

As an active member of the community, I have held leadership and advisory positions including: Commissioner,  Montgomery County Commission on Aging; Board Member, Eldersafe Advisory Council, Charles E. Smith Life Communities; Montgomery County Community Foundations Advisory Board; Montgomery County Adult Guardianship Review Board; Advisory Board, Montgomery County Aging in the Community; and, A Women’s Journey Advisory Board, The Johns Hopkins Medical Center. I have been honored to receive awards including: The Maryland Bankers Association Council of Professional Women in Banking and Finance Achievement Award; The Newmyer Volunteer Award, Sidwell Friends School; and multiple internal honors from Sandy Spring Bank for embracing principles and leadership.

A lifelong Washingtonian, I earned my Juris Doctor from The American University, Washington College of Law; a Master of Medical Science from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.

I hope that my work in the community will provide helpful and welcome insight as our community continues to seek trusted financial guidance.
